For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, NEN.AD is the name under which the website and software are operated by Nenad Petkovikj, Skopje, North Macedonia. This Privacy Policy is intended to explain our data practices. It does not replace any mandatory rights provided by applicable privacy or consumer-protection law.

2. How We Obtain Information

We may obtain personal information:

● Directly from you
● Through contact and support forms
● Through communication by email
● Through NEN.AD desktop software
● Through our software-licensing infrastructure
● Through website cookies, server logs, and technical tools
● From payment providers, checkout services, and marketplaces
● From service providers that help operate, secure, monitor, or support the website
● From information you voluntarily submit during a custom software request

Where information is received from a payment provider or marketplace, the information provided to NEN.AD may be limited to what is necessary to fulfill the purchase, deliver a license, provide support, prevent fraud, or comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information to:

● Operate and maintain software.nen.ad
● Deliver software, downloads, and license keys
● Activate and validate software licenses
● Enforce license duration, device, and activation limits
● Provide software updates and update information
● Process and administer purchases
● Respond to contact messages and support requests
● Diagnose technical problems
● Investigate failed activations and software errors
● Perform custom software work
● Process refund requests and payment disputes
● Prevent fraud, license sharing, unauthorized use, and abuse
● Protect the website, licensing systems, software, and users
● Maintain security and technical records
● Improve software, documentation, website performance, and user experience
● Send essential purchase, license, support, security, or product-related messages
● Send marketing messages only where permitted and, where required, after obtaining consent
● Meet accounting, tax, legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations
● Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims

Information processed locally by a NEN.AD desktop application is not normally transmitted to NEN.AD unless:

● The program’s operation requires communication with a NEN.AD service
● The relevant product page or documentation explains that transmission
● The information is needed for licensing or activation
● You voluntarily send the information to us for support
● Transmission is reasonably necessary to provide a feature you requested

4. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following:

Performance of a contract

Processing may be necessary to:

● Complete a purchase
● Deliver software or a license
● Activate or validate a license
● Provide support connected to a purchase
● Perform agreed custom software work
● Handle refunds or contractual requests

Legitimate interests

We may process information where reasonably necessary for legitimate interests such as:

● Operating and securing the website
● Maintaining software-licensing systems
● Preventing fraud, abuse, license sharing, and unauthorized access
● Investigating technical errors
● Maintaining business and support records
● Improving software and website performance
● Responding to non-marketing inquiries
● Establishing or defending legal claims

We will consider whether these interests are outweighed by your rights and freedoms.

Consent

We may rely on consent for:

● Non-essential cookies
● Analytics or embedded third-party features where consent is required
● Marketing and newsletter messages
● Optional information submitted through forms
● Other processing for which consent is specifically requested

You may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before consent was withdrawn.

Legal obligations

We may process or retain information where necessary to comply with:

● Tax and accounting rules
● Consumer-protection requirements
● Court orders or lawful authority requests
● Payment, invoicing, and record-keeping obligations
● Other applicable legal or regulatory duties

North Macedonia’s Personal Data Protection Agency recognizes consent, contractual necessity, legal obligations, and legitimate interests as possible grounds for lawful processing, depending on the circumstances.

5. Software Licensing and Activation

License and activation information is used to:

● Determine whether a license is valid
● Associate a license with the correct software product
● Calculate or verify the license period
● Activate the software
● Enforce activation and device limits
● Prevent one license from being used contrary to its terms
● Detect repeated or suspicious activation attempts
● Prevent fraud and unauthorized distribution
● Investigate technical or licensing problems
● Provide support and maintain product security

A failed activation attempt may be recorded even when activation is refused. The record may include the license key, device identifier, IP address, country, operating system, application version, date, and failure reason.

License verification may occur when the program starts, during use, at scheduled intervals, or when a feature requiring validation is used.

Refunding, reversing, cancelling, or charging back a purchase may result in the associated license being disabled.

6. Payments and Checkout Providers

Payments may be processed by third-party providers, marketplaces, banks, wallet providers, cryptocurrency services, or other checkout systems.

For purchases processed through Paddle, Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record and handles matters such as checkout, payment processing, applicable taxes, invoices, refunds, and payment disputes under its own terms and privacy practices.

Payment providers may collect information directly from you, including:

● Billing information
● Payment-card or payment-account details
● Billing address
● Country
● Tax information
● Device and anti-fraud information

Some payment providers act as independent controllers of the information they collect. Their use of information is governed by their own privacy policies.

NEN.AD may receive the limited order and customer information needed to:

● Assess a custom software request
● Prepare or perform accepted custom work
● Maintain records of the communication
● Prevent spam, fraud, or abuse

Support materials may contain personal information belonging to you or other people. You are responsible for ensuring that you are permitted to provide those materials and for removing unnecessary sensitive information.

Where login credentials or account access are genuinely required for custom work or support:

● Provide only the minimum access necessary
● Use temporary credentials where possible
● Change or revoke credentials after the work is completed
● Do not send credentials through an insecure channel unless specifically instructed

NEN.AD does not claim ownership of files or materials you provide. You authorize us to access and use them only as reasonably necessary to review your request, provide support, perform agreed work, prevent abuse, or resolve a dispute.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

software.nen.ad may use cookies and similar technologies for:

● Essential website functionality
● WordPress login and administrator sessions
● Security and fraud prevention
● Remembering cookie and privacy preferences
● Contact forms
● Live-chat functionality
● Website analytics and performance measurement
● Embedded videos or other media
● Checkout and payment functionality
● Technical monitoring and error detection

Essential cookies may be used without optional consent where legally permitted because they are necessary for the website to operate.

Non-essential cookies and similar technologies will be used according to applicable consent and opt-out requirements.

You may manage preferences through the cookie-consent controls provided on the website. You can also delete or block cookies through your browser, although blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the website from working correctly.

More information may be available in the separate Cookie Policy and US Privacy Choices page.

9. Analytics, Live Chat, Embedded Content, and Website Tools

Depending on which website features are enabled, NEN.AD may use services such as:

● Website hosting and content-delivery providers
● Google Analytics or Site Kit by Google
● Embedded YouTube videos
● 3CX Live Chat
● Fluent Forms
● Email and SMTP providers
● Security, caching, and performance tools
● Error-monitoring and diagnostic tools
● Cookie-consent management tools
● Payment and checkout providers

These services may process information such as your IP address, browser information, cookie identifiers, page interactions, messages, or technical data.

Embedded content may allow the third-party provider to receive information when the content loads or when you interact with it. Where required, embedded media or other non-essential services may remain blocked until appropriate consent is provided.

10. Software Infrastructure and Database Providers

NEN.AD may use hosting, cloud-computing, database, deployment, and software-licensing providers to operate:

● The website
● License activation endpoints
● License databases
● Version and update information
● Security systems
● Technical logs
● Support and administrative systems

These providers may process limited information on our behalf or, depending on the service and circumstances, under their own legal responsibilities.

Providers used for these purposes may include hosting companies, Vercel, Supabase, and other infrastructure services required to operate NEN.AD software and licensing systems.

11. When We Share Information

NEN.AD does not publish or disclose personal information without a reason.

We may share limited information with:

● Website-hosting providers
● Cloud and database providers
● Software-licensing infrastructure providers
● Payment processors and marketplaces

● Courts, regulators, law-enforcement bodies, or other authorities where legally required
● Parties involved in investigating fraud, abuse, unauthorized use, or legal claims

Information is shared only where reasonably necessary for the stated purpose, where you direct us to share it, or where disclosure is legally required or permitted.

Some recipients process information according to NEN.AD’s instructions. Others, particularly payment providers, marketplaces, and external platforms, may act independently under their own privacy policies.

12. Sale or Sharing of Personal Information

NEN.AD does not knowingly sell personal information in the traditional sense of exchanging personal information for monetary payment.

However, some United States privacy laws define “sale” or “sharing” more broadly. Depending on the third-party technologies active on the website and how they are configured, disclosures involving analytics, embedded content, or advertising-related technologies may be treated as sale or sharing under an applicable law.

Where legally required, eligible visitors may:

● Opt out through the US Privacy Choices page
● Change cookie preferences
● Use a recognized browser-based opt-out signal, such as Global Privacy Control

California recognizes rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of qualifying sale or sharing, subject to the law’s applicability and exceptions. Covered businesses must also recognize qualifying Global Privacy Control signals.

NEN.AD will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right where such discrimination is prohibited by applicable law.

13. International Data Transfers

NEN.AD is operated from North Macedonia, while some hosting, payment, analytics, communication, database, and infrastructure providers may operate in other countries.

Personal information may therefore be processed in:

● North Macedonia
● The European Economic Area
● The United States
● Other countries in which a relevant provider operates

Where legally required, transfers may rely on:

● An adequacy decision
● Contractual safeguards
● Standard contractual clauses
● Provider-specific transfer mechanisms
● Another legally recognized transfer basis

The privacy and data-protection laws of the recipient country may differ from those in your country.

14. Data Retention

NEN.AD retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including legal, accounting, security, support, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution needs.

Retention may depend on the type of information.

Technical, licensing, website, and security logs may be retained for a limited period appropriate to troubleshooting, security, fraud prevention, and abuse detection.

Consent records

Records demonstrating cookie, marketing, or other consent may be retained as long as reasonably necessary to demonstrate that valid consent was obtained or withdrawn.

Information may be retained for longer where required by law, necessary for legal claims, or technically preserved in secured backups until the backup is overwritten.

Anonymized or aggregated information that can no longer reasonably identify a person may be retained for a longer period. North Macedonia’s Personal Data Protection Agency states that, unless a specific legal period applies, personal data should not be retained longer than necessary for its processing purpose.

15. Security

NEN.AD uses reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect personal information against:

● Unauthorized access
● Accidental loss
● Improper disclosure
● Alteration
● Destruction
● Fraud

Where consent is required, marketing messages will be sent only after you have provided appropriate consent.

You may unsubscribe by:

● Material changes affecting software you purchased.

18. Children’s Privacy
